i named this collection ''brass city records'' after the cool indie record shop in Waterbury ct. then I changed the name to ''at the record shop'' because it sounded more simple and a dedication to ALL indie record shops

mostly unreleased trax from 1997-2001-ish -------- back then 13 years ago, people used to buy ocm vinyl and cds from this fantastic local indie shop brass city records in waterbury i've been going to since 1985...or 86?
anyway...these songs never made it onto harmonies and atmospheres or whatever.

tracks 8-12 are the songs also known as ''space medley''.
they were supposed to be on a follow up to ocean rainbow, the rest of the songs were scattered onto various releases.

3 of these songs were released in the year 2000 :

''oceanside 72'' [recorded in december 1998] and ''something/anything'' [recorded in july 1999] were on the pop in clap comp cd released on japanese label vivid sound.

'female star'', a felt cover, was released on an lp zenith power shell and other favorites. i released that 7 song mini lp split w/ the knit seperates.

i never actually played a live show at brass city records.
i meant to , i just never got around to it.

this is just a nice collection of short sweet soundscapes, a fuzzy soft space rock chillwave tranquilzer.

listen to this near bedtime.
