Remember when Lawrence suggested some band names in the liner notes of Go Kart Mozart's debut lp?.
Cynthetic Ceiling was one of the names he made up, so I used it as a band name for me to use to release an ALL SYNTHESIZER LP.
Mostly all bubblegum synthpop songs, some space age pop and ambient lo fi prog, and a dash of Todd Rundgren meets Perry Kingsley [ see ''Silver Raindrops''].
There were no guitars on any stringed instruments used on this lp..
Original name was Synthetic Sailing by Cynthetic Ceiling [Orange Cake Mix in disguise],
Released in autumn 2003 on the North of January/Twilight Furniture label.
There is another bandcamp variation of this lp, with some extra tunes and minus the Wacky Packs song. All the songs were remixed, in a different order also.
This was the first official 2003 release.
This lp is NOT streaming on Spotify, Amazon etc.
Not sure why, all the other Orange Cake Mix albums are.
Maybe they did not know it was really an Orange Cake Mix cd??
Either way, finally uploading this original version. Enjoy!
